Ashlyn Croy Harris is a proud native of the greater New Orleans region, where she was born and raised in Metairie, attending Archbishop Chapelle High School. She then attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. After graduating, she went on to obtain her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – New Orleans.
Following completion of the Physician Assistant program, Ashlyn went on to work in the Neurosurgery Department at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans for three years. During her time working neurosurgery, Ashlyn managed patients in both the hospital and clinic setting, and she also worked as a first assist in the operating room. She found her passion for spine surgery throughout her time in neurosurgery, and she now assists Dr. Ramirez in the care of our spine patients.
Ashlyn currently resides in Harahan with her husband and daughter. She is nationally certified, as well as licensed and board certified in the state of Louisiana. She has a passion for getting to know her patients to provide care that is unique to them. She is excited to be a part of our spine team and treat patients in her hometown.
