He turned his focus to medicine at the University of South Alabama School of Medicine, where he earned his MD. He went on to further his knowledge and skills through an internship and residency at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, where he worked as a chief resident.
In his practice at Orthopaedic Associates of New Orleans, Dr. Lurie offers the full scope of orthopaedic care. He has extensive experience in arthroscopic surgeries of the knee, hip, and shoulder, and especially enjoys providing care to workers who were injured on the job.
