Carly Nicole Melancon was born and raised in Dutchtown, Louisiana. She attended college at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree. After graduating from LSU, she then went on to obtain her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from LSU-Health Sciences Center.After graduating from the Physician Assistant program in 2020, Carly began her career here at OANO. She has worked alongside our spine specialist, Dr. Felipe Ramirez, where she managed patients both in the clinic and hospital setting while also first assisting in surgery.
While working with our spine patients, she then started to expand into general orthopaedics. Carly now primarily works alongside Dr. Lance Estrada where she has found a true passion for orthopaedics, developing interpersonal relationships with her patients, and providing the best of care. She is nationally certified as well as licensed and board certified in the state of Louisiana.
Carly currently resides in the Uptown area and is excited to continue her career here as part of the OANO team in her home state.
